FAQ
-
What is the difference between a nursing home and South View?
The care received is very similar. Nursing homes offer "skilled services" like Physical Therapy and accept Medicare funds. Assisted living facilities do not, but they do partner with local home care agencies to bring in physical therapy or occupational therapy if needed.
-
Does my loved one have to move again, or can they stay until the end of life?
95% of the time, residents stay through the end of life. We partner with local Hospice organizations to provide care for them when that time comes.

We have a full-time activities director for our 12 residents. That means an action-packed calendar that includes things like bowling, bingo, circle time, chair yoga, book club, church services, happy hour, and many different musical groups coming each month!

Meals are homemade on-site. Do you have a special request? Let our team know, and we will be happy to add it to the menu!
